At the end of every spring semester, AOÎ has their formal, called Roseball. We have a formal sit down dinner, dance with a live band, superlative awards, and a photo booth!

Socials
Multiple times during the semester, we hold socials with fraternities with different themes. Some of our favorite themes have been Tacky Christmas Sweater, 90's Kids Would Know, Duck Calls and Overalls, St. Patrick's Day and Space Jam.

Sisterhood Events
At least once a month, we try to hold small sisterhood events to remind us what we love most about each other and our sisterhood. Sometimes in place of our weekly chapter meetings, we'll have sisterhood chapter where we do fun activities planned by the Vice President of Chapter Development. This year we had a skate night at a rollar skating park and our sister spent time together doing something new.
Sisterhood Retreat
Once a semester, our Vice President of Chapter Development and her committee plan a sisterhood retreat. This year we traveled to Don Lee retreat center and spent the weekend doind fun team building activities. Sister spent this time getting to know each other better.

Homecoming
Every fall semester, we partake in the festivities of East Carolina's Homecoming. We pair up with a fraternity and compete in the banner, skit, and float competition, as well as the canned food drive.
The past two years, we have had a sister in the top 5 for Homecoming Court! In 2013, we placed in the top 3 for the canned food drive and the float competition! This year, the theme was "Land of the Free, Home of the Pirates."

Greek Week
Every spring semester, we compete in the ECU's Greek Life Greek Week competition. Every sorority is paired up randomly with an Interfraternity Council Fraternity and/or National Pan-Hellenic Council Organization.
During this week, we have events to raise points for our team including pie a president, wear your greek letters day, a greek speaker and a mixer with all the participating teams!
